I see so many trucks at truck stops just find or create a spot, shut ‘er down and go to bed like an animal. I guess I’m OCD about how my truck is parked for my break. I’ve moved around so much trying to find just the ideal angle people have to think I’m nuts. But I’ll die before my feet are up higher than my head sleeping, and don’t talk to me about switching sides of the bed. I might be crazy, but I’m not insane.

Cab lever best, but driver's side higher if not possible. I'm like you I couldn't sleep with my feet above my head or my head on the passenger side of the truck.

Has to be level side to side. For some reason any degree tilt to the right or left gives me a sensation that the truck is going to roll over..

Facing uphill is good if I’ve been drinking..keeps me from rolling out of bed :)

Level is best, head higher than feet is just about as good.

Yep, i've got to flip my head to the high side and I hate doing that. I wake up and don't have any idea where I am.

If you have diabetes, feet should be elevated when sleeping. Doesn't have to be elevated much. Us a longer pillow as you might use under your head, but put it under your feet. A little longer to compensate for tossing & turning.

I've slept in farm tractors, on 4 wheelers, on the ground and just about anywhere. Really doesn't matter to me

I actually have a level I place in 2 different spots and anything more than 1 degree I’m pissed. It’s not OCD but I can feel it when trying to sleep and man it’s annoying. If forced to, I’ll sleep feet facing down, or nose pointed up.

Truck level is best always. If i cant get that then next best is either a tilt back towards the trailer or driver side higher then passenger. To the drivers side or forward SUCKS. Makes sleeping pure pain.
