    Have you guys ever seen this before? This filter is only 3 weeks old. Replaced today with a new one.

    Was thinking myself. It was black and moldy looking on the filter. I didn't know algea formed in cold weather.

    Yes it can with the right conditions and freaking bio-fuel blend. Treat it fast with a bio treatment and keep after it for awhile.

    Make sure it's algae and not Asphaltenes, there treated differently.

    Also check the fuel heater in the unit. See if it is working.

    Unit is brand new. I fill at TA primarily. Sometimes at Mapplefields when in a pinch.

    loves fuel uses more bioblend. it cleans system well but plugs filters fast.

    Had my oil analysis done today. To make sure that there wasnt an injector and cups issue. Oil came back negative for coolant and fuel.
