California has rolling blackouts. We know electricity causes forrest fires. Being with out electricity is like being one with the earth. You know pre patriarchy.......

Nothing for the moment. I think you have time. Regardless of regime, it will eventually evolve organically to where there is no dependency on fossil fuels.

Everything is going to stop. Fill up your gas tank before the inaugural. Oilfield is shutting down like it always does when democrats take over

Fuel will be around for a long time. These electric cars aren’t cheap. And you can’t get beater electric cars just yet.

Then you probably weren't using your truck for "truck stuff."

Some of us have already made the switch years ago. I'm running compressed hydrogen right now for fuel cell vehicles in CA. Next will be liquid hydrogen so they can supply the gaseous hydrogen on a larger scale. Its grown by leaps and bounds within a short amount of time. Should be interesting to see it grow outside of the state as well.

Well I think what you're really asking is what to expect.

None of this is political it's just the government.

If the Senate remains with one party and the house is with a different party they really can't pass any real laws.

Now there can be executive action and things of that nature. Things can change but it's not going to be like you have a job today and tomorrow you're not going to. Without really being able to pass laws don't think it's going to be anything that substantial.

So unless everything becomes one party you may see and feel changes but it's not going to be drastic. And it is not going to be immediate.

I agree. I think they'll come up with more money to build more wind farms and solar fields, but gas and oil will be around for a long time. At most, they'll tighten carbon emission restrictions, but even that would take a long time to implement.
BTW, thanks for giving an intelligent, civil response. All I did was ask people for their thoughts, and half of them were sarcastic, condescending, and unproductive. Luckily, I have thick skin, so I don't get my feelings hurt. If you're sensitive, stay off the internet lol!
