Hey guys so i have a question.
When do you add another axle to the truck or trailer to keep things legal? The most I've hauled was 50k lb cargo,(82k cgvwr) but I was still at 5 axles. In the following years I plan on hauling 55k-60k lb coils and want to spec my truck for it. I was thinking for truck itll be 15k front, 40k rear, and 40k on trailer spread. Would i be able to do so and not have to add another axle? Thanks in advance!

Depends what state you are in.
In Ky we can permit to 95,000 gross on 5 axles, and 120,000 on 6 axles.
