gambia you have the requirements. Drivers visit and move from foreign countries and drive a CMV all the time with a green card. No required waiting period if you drove in your home country.
You just have to find the right company. Check all the big mega carriers. You might stand a better chance with a reefer company or division since FL is known for produce and floral.
The only problems you'll encounter is you live in FL. You're in the corner of the world of sorts. Many companies won't hire south of I-10 in FL. Not to say they there isn't any.
Going to a community college is a better option if you can. I'm not sure about the citizenship thing and federal student financing though? You can google and find the schools and then look on their website. -
You'll have to get green card first. If you don't marry a US citizen it can be a difficult process. You can get a company sponsorship to get a work visa or get lucky and win one of the green card lotteries. -
