I have a 2007 Volvo with a Ved12, my truck shut down for low coolant but when I checked the expansion bottle it looked fine, so I flushed out the bottle and put a new probe on it. Well it shut down again saying low coolant on my dash warning screen. Is there another sensor for coolant levels on this truck?

I would say maybe the sensor harness is messed up...do a wiggle test and follow the wires as far as you can to locate any loose connection

especially if you already swapped out the old sensor with a new sensor

there is only the sensor under the bottle sometimes the level looks fine when you are driving but when you make a turn coolant shifts and it shows low coolant just for a moment enough to shut the truck off

    mikey747 Thanks this.
