@TripleSix please inform your brethren that it is quite rude to knock around a combine.
-
Well I'd be surprised if that combine had less than $200k in damage.
mjd4277 and Flat Earth Trucker Thank this. -
@Rontonio this is a 2 lane trailer on what is probably mostly 2 lanes. shouldn’t there be a front car? Has to be 20ft wide.
Lead truck can’t see anything behind and the push truck can’t see anything.Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this. -
Good on the Farmer. For years I’ve said they’re the most dangerous people on the road. 11.5 wide, 25 mph and just rolling down the side of the road living their best life with no permits or trucks moving their equipment and using escorts. If a driver tried anything a farmer does he’d be in prison.

Well this was dare I say, a bad

it is a 64 wheeler in Canada - almost certainly in Alberta somewhere. So it is a different world so to speak - probably under 16 wide. Likely a 12 wide triple 16 trailer, With extra dual wheels added to the outside. The little bit I saw was a 3 lane setup.
It looks like he went to pass and then an on oncoming popped up and he had to squeeze.
The driver showed some impatience trying to pass and the farmer did what some farmers do - refuse to give even an inch.
so both of them are to blame - no accident if the farmer gives a little room when he knows the load is going past and the driver chose poorly (even though he tried to do it in a 3 lane section- which are few and far between)
that’s my take -
I figured either AB or SK as well.Isafarmboy, TripleSix and Flat Earth Trucker Thank this.

The widest I pulled in that area was a 16 wide pipe rack out of AbileneTX. Saskatchewan told me that a pilot car wasn’t required. Alberta required the pilot car on a 2 lane. Of course, you run the pilot car to the front on a 2 lane. I see the pilot to the rear in the video.
Anyway, thanks for the info.Trucker61016 and Flat Earth Trucker Thank this. -
he may have not been running a pilot car as much as a rear Steerman.Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this.
