First of all let me say that I believe the marijuana laws are total BS and that it isn't right that folks can get stupid drunk while on home time but God forbid one should want to take a puff or two of some weed. I would much rather take a puff or two of herb than drink ANY alcohol.

That being said.... If one CHOOSES this profession, then one also had to ABIDE by the laws and rules of said profession regardless whether or not we think said laws are stupid/worthless/unfair... Period.

 

If you sale used cars you probaly should become a dispatcher!!

Forget the pot smoking, this one fact would have me saying no. It costs a ton of money to put someone through the hiring process and you are too much of a risk of quitting early.

 

Clean record, great. Clean driving record, great. Health, could be a problem, look at dot health standards, search on google. Work history, 20 jobs could be iffy, but they will definately overlook that because your clean history and it was sales. Sales, you are bound to be job to job. There is no such thing as just having 1 sales job unless i guess you work at a lambo dealership... but still, good luck. you will be fine with any company, you have no worries, just check up on your health

 

Hair tests go back 3 years, ppl dont hair test unless you need a secret clearance... come on..
