Problem for me is, Saftey has the cameras & transponders installed. And they're not to bright about where it goes.

I had a SunPass directly in the center of my windshield for over a year, and I don't even go to Florida! Thankfully, we replaced that sticker/transponder with a new Velcro one and since they let me mount it, I put it far away from my sightline.

Wait, is that your HUT sticker on the glass? That's not allowed.

Yes it is. Passed level 2 inspection in New York. I told smokey if it was on bumper my oversize sign would cover it.
    He said ok.

Don't mount anything that blocks any portion of the driver-side wiper arc.

    "It's a trap!"

Just for the people that don't know, it's not allowed on the bumper either. I think the instructions say as close to the plate as possible but not on the bumper, and it has to be on a vertical surface.

When I got a new tractor a few years ago, I had the time to be as aesthetically pleasing with my sticker locations as I wanted. Usually we just slap new labels over old, so it was the one time I could place it where I thought it would look good.

Huh. Well crap. I've got my gps and dash cam on the windshield but if a trooper really wants to give me a ticket I'll have him get in and see what exactly it blocks. Here's the view from my face in drivers seat.

I keep everything I can mounted to the dash. Unfortunately, these days GPS devices, dash cams, etc, all come with stupid suction cup mounts. When I got my 465T, it had a pair of sticky discs that you could use to permanently or temporarily mount to any surface. Used the temporary one to make sure I'd like it where I placed it, then when that decided it had temporarily been there long enough, I used the permanent sticky disc. My 570LMT just had a suction cup mount, so LUCKILY it still fit (despite being slightly larger). Had I gone with the 770, I would've been up a creek.

Dash cam is mounted as low as I could get it on the windshield, using the suction cup mount that falls off every couple weeks. Sure, it is in the area "swept by the wipers"...but only blocks my view of the hood.
