Nope, that's not what I said.
I was speaking in generalities. But since you want to get into the specifics of the situation, I don't ever agree with pulling someone's fifth wheel under any circumstance. But back to my point, there are some times when you have to fight fire with fire.

Yeah you're basically saying that it was ok whoever the person was that pulled this driver's pin. You're wrong. It was a stupid and cowardly thing to do pulling that pin. Somebody innocent of the whole thing could've gotten hurt or killed. A man would've had a talk with the driver on the fuel island instead cowering and sneaking. It was just as stupid and clownish as a driver parked on the fuel island for an hour.

No, that's not what I said, you're strawmanning me. Learn to differentiate between generalities and specifics.drvrtech77 Thanks this.

My worthless theory of how it happened

Driver unhooked and went into the shop for service. Got out and didn’t get properly connected. Tough lesson to learn but unfortunately it happens all too often.
Was probably creeping around the truck stop distracted by his elog. Got to the road and put his flip flop to the floor.hope not dumb twucker, FullMetalJacket and bryan21384 Thank this. -
It may not make it right but it'll usually fix it...drvrtech77, hope not dumb twucker, RockinChair and 1 other person Thank this.

I'm with @rollin coal here. I don't understand pulling guy's 5th wheel. Luckily it happened just outside the truck stop. Also, whoever did that delayed his load, which keeps your fellow Americans from potentially getting what they need at the store, which interrupts a supply chain, which creates an unnecessary traffic jam; if he drops the trailer on I-40, it could cause an accident, which could hurt or kill someone, then he delayed your other fellow drivers from getting into the truck stop to fuel, shower, etc. I don't know the situation as to why the guy got his 5th wheel pulled, but even if he blocked the fuel island, he doesn't create as many problems, or impact as many people as pulling someone's 5th wheel does. I'm sorry, but I don't see where that teaches him a lesson. The Volvo driver won't even know why someone would do that. You don't touch people's stuff for any reason. I hope that the guy that pulled the 5th wheel release doesn't have the same thing happen to him.

That also is a possibility too lol...I actually forgot the Boss Shop is there.

The problem is, the Volvo driver didn't know he was in a fight.
