I run on alot of holidays. That way, the ones with kids and grand kids can be at home.

 

They close more than they used to, at least in CO and WY.

how often do you think they get to give out fines? if they were making the big bucks I would think all other states would follow their example?

 

I have entered those port of entries so many times and I never got a ticket.They just wanted to check my permit book.They could care less about prepass they make every trk enter.At least they use to.

 

The POE's are hold-overs from the pre-IFTA days, when the Western states had ton-mile taxes. A few still do, but use IFTA reporting for the miles instead of tracking you at the ports.

 

If it's WY always go inside if they make you enter the port. Better safe than sorry. On the other hand, you're OK this time. If they wanted to find you, they would have

 

wy coming out of co was open one night in march
