Okay "new" back to The forum and not a mechanic but owner op, but I could certainly use some input as I tend to work on my stuff but I'm new to the X15 and heavy duty diesel engines. Well, I worked on diesels in the m88 and turbines in Abrams but that's neither here nor there.

    Anyhow I've got a 2021 international LT 625 with a Cummins X15 with the Eaton 12 auto.
    370k on it

Got the fuel filters changed a couple weeks ago so they are new. Truck starts runs 4-5 minutes and then will either rough idle trying to die or when I go to drive away falls flat on its face w/no response from the accelerator, engine hasn't died on me but no power.

Pulled the codes no codes active went ahead and cleared the codes anyhow truck ran fine, no issues running or shutting down and restarting the rest of the day. Next morning, same issue Try to shut down the truck and restart the truck without clearing codes it fell on its face again. This morning after cleaning the IMAP same issue but the second time I primed the pump twice before I started the truck without clearing codes and it ran fine. Leads me to believe it's something in the fuel system so not sure, do I have air in the lines, do I need to replace the filters again, is there water that needs to be drained? One of the problems I'm having is that once I get it running okay it won't repeat the issue again until the next day apparently, making it hard to diagnose and eliminate issues. So where do I begin? Thanks in advance.

I recently ran a forced regen to be sure DPF wasn't clogged, everything turned out ok, but I could be wrong there too.

Use an Ancel code reader allows forces regens

Sounds to me like it has air in the system.. first place to check is the fuel filter make sure the old o ring came off with the old filter and not doubled up.. that would cause it to suck air

    I'd agree with @D.Tibbitt.

After checking the simple things first, I always bypass the fuel lines and filters, go straight from tank to pump with a hose, and see what happens.
