Doing a top end set on a X15 Performance Series. After setting the valves you are supposed to check the running clearance on the jake brake rockers. What position is this checked in, anytime the exhaust valve is closed?

Correct. Set brake clearance after adjusting exhaust valve clearance on the same cylinder.

Spec is 7mm. Allen wrench works good substitute for buying the expensive Hockey stick from Cummins.

I set the brake clearance already. My question is with the "Running Clearance" .025"-.110"

All adjustments are made with valves closed.

Check the running clearance after you make the adjustment. Let the engine brake rocker sit in its neutral or detent position. .025-.110 between the brake rocker & valve. I use a .025 & a stack up of guages to make up the .110 .
