You did not mention the fact that you got bent all out of shape when we questioned your protocol procedure. Many of the readers on the other forum commented that they would NOT go off of your results due to the many changes done to your truck lately.
But as I told you earlier, that I will not get into a he said, she said, argument.
Bottom Line here is very simple,
Niether you nor I pay for the fuel on these Professionals O/O's trucks.
They are more concerned with the Profit left in their pockets than what your opinion or mine is on a product. Even if you would have gone thru with the test, these professionals would want to see it for themselves.
Discrediting anyone or product without proof in hand is just hearsay.
I wish you the best and I am sure we will have more test results soon from some fleets as well as more O/O's.

Thank you and sorry I could not test it for you.
I don't know what type of trucks and motors you have, but I have tested alot stuff with some working and some not.
Just so you will know the product I am comparing the EcoTaz to that look alot alike:
Turbo3000d Vada
EcoTaz
Both make the same claims, have the testimonals and have the professional Salesman.
Turbo3000d Vada website: http://www.turbo3000d.com/
EcoTaz website: http://www.etieco.com/index.htm
You decide which one you want. I can only tell you the Turbo3000d Vada did not work for me on my truck.
Now if you really want to try one that I believe are the samething, the Turbo3000d Vada is cheaper and has an add on with the new Turbo3000 Sentinel that monitors fuel pressure and flow.
Let us know if we can help you further. There is alot of members on here from all over the world with alot of knowledge.
Good Luck! -

I will soon post the fleets that are now using ECO's as well. -

ECOTAZ and BigBadBill Thank this.

I have never claimed the dedicated runs is all I do and if you look at all my data posted on mygauges.com you would seen that. I can pull just the data from the dedicated runs to compare things with instead of my wild runs (non-dedicated runs) to get it real close on changes made in a short period of time.
I have a customer that has portable concrete plants that I move a few times a year that are usually short runs and are O/S, but those wild runs do skew my overall numbers like it does for anybody that does non-dedicated runs.
Sorry you missed all that posted information. -
You can always tell when a salesmen is selling a gimmick. They get very defensive and pushy.

I've just been watching this thread from a curiosity standpoint. Even though Dice seemed like a great candidate, to my casual observation, it is almost next to impossible to produce identical results no matter how hard you try and control the environment. There are so many variables out in the field that make producing clinical results out. Changes in fuel blends, changes in air resistance due to differing weather patterns, changes in weight, changes in driving habits due to human error, etc.
Dice even mentioned that hauling a couple of oversize loads skewed his mileage.
Get the people like Haney and Far Call involved who know things like injection theory, flow rates. Let Haney install a unit and do a bunch of dyno runs. If you claim more horsepower and more efficiency, he would be a guy to utilize.
Take a tractor, put it on a dyno, and run it for a set amount of time at a set horsepower and measure the fuel consumption. Then put your unit on, and run the truck for the same amount of time, putting out the same amount of horsepower, and record the difference.
If you're going to sell a product and you're confident it works, put it in a controlled environment whereas it's not subject to interpretation, and document it, YouTube it and have at it.
But to reiterate, get people involved, especially the horsepower builders, because as far as I see it, they would know whether or not it would work in theory. And, it would be your best test platform going. If you demonstrated to someone like Mr. Haney how well it worked, and how much fuel it saved, you could more than likely sell one with every tune he does. The majority of his business is people looking for better performance, crisper response, and ultimately, better mileage.
Dice decided to bow out. I respect that. He tried something similar, and in his perception, it didn't work. And should he come on here with his reputation and say, "It didn't work....", I would just see another 27 pages worth of arguing as to why.
Put it on a dyno. Burn the same fuel, the same rolling conditions, the same truck and operator. If it does what you claim, the numbers will be right there.ECOTAZ and HeWhoMustNotBeNamed Thank this.
