It has been posted before, Figure what a $2.20 load dispatcher cut would be. Then a $1.75 load at the same distance would make them. Its not worth 10 more minutes of time. Thats why you will just have to find someone that WANTS to do the best job for you.

It's actually getting more money for the load that counts often times, some people are just better negotiators then others.

Oh right, % from gross doesn't work and that's my argument, but if the agreement was dispatch gets anything over $1.90, he wouldn't even consider booking a 1.75 load as it wouldn't make him/her any money. But a $2.20load would bank dispatcher 30cpm without getting up from the chair.

If all you want is $1.90, and the dispatcher can keep anything above that, when can I start dispatching you? And do you have any friends that need the service as well?

But why haul a load for 1.60 when you can get 2.60?? The problem is that most truck drivers have no business smarts what so ever.

This guy must be part of the ''SHTMI''....Sweatpant-Homeless-Trucking-Mafia INC..

If all i had was a truck,a piss bottle,a coleman cooler,c.b. radio and my Dog,i could run my truck for $1.00 a mile...

Sad that this is what has killed trucking in so many ways..Trucking is a ''cure'' for Homelessness..

    Cetane+ Thanks this.
