Point is if they find a cell phone period on your person or in truck they can research that #. They been able to track your fuel purchases anyway weather you pay cash or not. So there are two ways. Shame I agree but we need to learn how to play the game to our advantages while same time trying to fight for our rights. Just complaining doesn't solve a thing and just a waste of time. IMO when EOB are mandated loads will slow down and take longer to get there. There's already a shortage of drivers and loads sitting on docks to be delivered. Tho not adjusted as it should have in past I believe the rates will have no choice but to go up and beg for us to haul their freight. Now most of know it all truckers on here brag how they average 2.50 PM on all hub miles. So I believe the freight rates are already there and we just have to find it. If I'm wrong woopie do I fail and start again another way. This all just MYO. Hope all is safe out there.

Your senator may be a little bit harder to pin down, but regardless, you can speak directly with your elected officials face to face, by email, over the phone, and through their websites. It isn't hard my friends.6 Speed Thanks this. -

LOL Right.....I am not MANDATED to have this. My point is this: EVERYTHING now is just forced on us with no recourse. It's time to raise hell over this......there are hundreds of small, safe carriers who do just fine with paper logs.
The megas that are using elogs now are not safer because of it; they may possibly have fewer form and manner violations because of it.....that's all.EverLuc and bullhaulerswife Thank this. -

Daily, they are pushing veteran truck drivers out of the trucking industry and replacing them with people who they can pay less wages because of their training, who probably came from industries that paid much more than trucking will ever offer them, because their particular industry was a victim of NAFTA. Its not very hard to see this if you open your eyes and I don't blame the people coming into the industry one bit because you have to do what you have to do to survive. I blame the forces that have instigated this devious plan against ALL Americans in this country.
And youre right, Apathy will kill this country dead but so will violence. John F Kennedy was right on his mark with his speech, just days before he died, about an inner force plotting to Destroy this country.GearWarrant, 6 Speed and korky Thank this. -
So.....now what? Getting the majority of truck drivers to come together for a cause is like herding cats.
Schneider used to have a union - Schneider Transport - but I guess ol' Donny got his way and eliminated them. OOIDA is one way, but not everyone will fork over the measly few bucks for a membership. OOIDA to me is like the NRA in type. I think the NRA has more pull though in there piece of the pie than OOIDA has in theirs.
What is to be done? Sort of like the GnR song Sweet Child O mine - Where do we go now?
