There is some truth to that. I knew a guy, an old timer, worked at the 1st TT job I had for like 30 years, finally slowed down, to just a couple days a week, then decided to pull the pin altogether, a month later, he was dead. Another friend, worked at place( not trucking) for many years, finally retired, got his 1st SS check, a week later, died.

That's what I was thinking. I have hearing aids, DOT in SC actually looked to make sure I had them in after he looked at my med card. Don't have BP problems but surely that can be controlled.
