Have to agree with you on that one. When I find o/o to broker freight to, when I hear back haul I know I'm making at least double what I do for a regular truck. -
It's not like I'm asking anyone to reveal a deep dark secret. I just want to know if the real world is reflected by DAT and ITS. -
No the dat can give a loose reflection of the market but the majority of the time it's off, and never in the truckers favor.
-
seems like all states are starting to speed up. with the exception of montana still behind the curve.
we won't talk about the west coast states. -
I would point out that I have never told DAT what rate I got off of a load from their board or otherwise. Have any of you ? If not, then how can that data possibly reflect us or be meaningful to us ?
xiipercent, jess-juju, 281ric and 4 others Thank this. -
The best load is the one that just left, just the way it is.
-
Excellent point. That's why I posted this thread. Where does DAT and the others get their info from. Is it based on what is posted? If so, then that would just be the starting point and not the actual negotiated final rate. -
the thing is they only use information from loads that have posted rates and the professional guys like me know don't wast the time to call the rates suck and are not negotiable.
