Tons of contacts. From Yukon to alberta, I want to buy one. And in the future another and so on. I'm just not sure what direction I should head towards. Long haul or construction.

If there is dump work to have thats the way I'd go because gets you home daily and usually allows quick expansion

That's what I'm looking for, something that grows a company. And there is tons of business here in alberta for dump trucks. And I suppose that keeps labour rate minimal. Attract More experienced drivers.

I've seen dump truck companies (starting with one or two trucks) grow in rapid rates in my silly little area of the world. Based on what I've witnessed...can't go wrong in that direction.

You aren't investing in a truck, you are investing in yourself. Doesn't matter what truck you buy if you aren't working it. Do what you love/know best, provide great service, and treat your best customers like gold. The rest will take care of itself.
