Have any of you had the a/c blower fan area under the bunk leak water into the cab?
and if so what do you do to fix it?
im going to thermoking in a few days in KC to get a new condenser for my tripac unit, it's leaking refrigerant.
i was going to ask them to blow out the condensate drain, or whatever that pipe is that allows the water to drain.
my truck was parked for about 2 months maybe something like wasp nest or spider web got up in that water drain tube?
Any insight or suggestions on this matter would be very helpful and greatly appreciated!!

the codensate drain is probably plugged most the time they are a flexible rubber hose that you can squeeze to remove a blockage sometimes not quite that simple though. and need to be manually cleaned and flushed out.
-
That's what I'm hoping. Water in the cab is no fun,
-
if you can't pull the hose or whatever to clean it out. try using something like a long screwdriver or whatever to clean it out. it's what I did to the front unit once. in the truck I was driving at that time.

Or possibly the drain hose has come off or broken. Have you actually looked at it?

Didn't want to damage anything in that pipe I don't know about, like a butterfly valve or something of that nature,
-
I don't have an APU, but I'm getting water in the back of the bunk. Where does the main ac drain on a FLD classic?
-
Classic has a drain in the front under dash on passenger side. Also has a drain under bunk on passenger side.

With my Toyota Camry I used a clothes hanger to clean out my drain tube, dirt dobbers had done a job on it.
After I stuck it up into the hose water started coming out slowly, after that bent over the end of the clothes hanger wire to make it a bit larger & did it again, them the water ran out very fast.
Which in doing this you will want to be careful, of course if the hose is in good condition it will stretch a bit without doing any harm.bigNATURE Thanks this.
