Do you know what the 48 state fees were..Also do they pro rate the fee if it mid year or do the plates renew at different times?

Ok, here is a question for you guys, I live in Florida, drive a straight truck with a GVW of 25,900 and run for a carrier out of Cleveland OH. Right now I just have a regular Florida registration, but would like to update to apportioned plates so I don't have to pay Arizona $69 for monthly permits or Colorado $60 permits for 72 hours (which I should not have to pay anyway as my truck does not weigh more than 16,000 pounds empty).
I don't have my own DOT number right now since I don't run under my own authority, and I have read that the DOT does not issue numbers for "vehicle registrant only"
So my question is for any other owner/operators that live in Florida and run for out of state carriers, did you have to get your own DOT number, or did you just use the one for the company that you run for? -
You have to have the companies dot number and ein number....if that is who is responsible for safetycoalminer Thanks this. -
Thanks, that was all I thought I needed but the instructions are not very clear. I'm going to drive down to st pete on the 1st and see if I can get this all done. -
