Possibly a newer driver who's not experienced in this.

Someone so new to this business they have no idea how to spec a truck? Line up 10 company drivers each with 5 years experience and you're very likely to not hear a lot of knowledge with speccing, even.

    joseph1135 and Dryver Thank this.

If people don't have enough experience to know how to spec a truck, they have no business buying a new one.

No one is debating that, but it's a free market, free world and his money.
Better rates for you, when you can offer superior service.

No it isn't a good price, here is why....

The truck may be a lemon, spec'ed wrong for what you are going to use if for so posting the specs that they are asking (which is the engine, trans model, rear axle ratios and options that it has on it) and what you are going to use it for will help members tell you if it is a good deal or not. BUT no matter I would look at other trucks too, compare them and never ever be in a rush to buy a truck, AND never ever be emotional about a truck, they are tools.

Remember there are thousands of them out there looking for owners. If the sales dweeb says something about a one time offer, walk away and look else where.

    Dryver Thanks this.

Absolutely NOT.......don't walk RUN from that deal..I've just bought a 2015 cascadia evolution with a 500 detroit, and as I don't really want to say exactly how much I finally paid, it was below $120K and may I say well below. I got a commercial loan at 8.99% so I'm very pleased. Bought the Freightliner from a local dealer in Texas......good luck.

BTW mine was a full condo sleeper with a 10 speed. For whatever reason I could get a better more extensive warranty with that, over a 13 speed.

Cascadia Evolution, is that the truck they advertised about getting 9-10 mpg?

That's 3 bedroom, 2 bath and nice retirement in some countries. Take any decent truck for 30 thousand, overhaul it for 30 more, here is your tool to make money.
