For me, mostly TA's but only for the normal stuff, nothing major but than again, if it is major, you get what you get.. If you just want your oil changed, tires changed, lights fixed, belts replaced or anything small, just find a TA where the people leave you feeling comfortable with them. I don't know of one in particular right off the bat in the area you speak of but, if I hear, I will share..

Try the NTTS Breakdown directory. Don't know about an app but they do have a website. I've used it a lot of the years.

exit 4 in NJ has a TA. I've been there plenty of times. They do a decent job.
Also, if you are looking for a private mechanic and a good one, there is one off exit 4. stay on 46 for about 10-15 miles. he will be on your right hand side. open til 5 pm. His name is John. Corey brothers is the name of his shop. He will fix anything and everything. Tell him the green kenworth that parks in his lot told you about him. -
