Can anyone explain an exhaust trap inlet pressure code on a 2012 peterbilt 587 cummins isx15 cm2250? Truck is under 500k, will only do parked regens, displays stop engine lamp until the parked regen is executed. However, parked regen must be interrupted because it will not stop the regen itself. Truck has been in the shop 3 times since December and dpf has been clean. This is not my truck. Just helping a friend. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Just an FYI, you're drilling into a DPF that costs over 5 grand. If you #### up and bring it to any dealer you'll be paying 5 grand for a new DPF. Also, any truck that enters a dealership with any emissions system defeated will have any engine/aftertreatment work declined.
The exhaust trap inlet pressure fault code is a fault code typically indicates that the inlet of your DPF is clogged. You'll need to get the DPF/DOC removed and cleaned, the DOC may or may not be bad, and then the shop needs to perform an snap throttle test (to check for excessive soot output from the engine) and test your aftertreatment fuel doser for proper operation. -
