The Nations Trucking Industry Unite!

Hey you all,
O/Os - Drivers, Shippers, Receivers and NON Driving Community Workers and Laborers. We NEED to unite! We need to form one body, and we all need to be in one accord and focused on our GOAL.

Whats the GOAL?
The Goal is to shake up this country to a point that they know we mean business. This is OUR country and we need to take it back!

We are the ones that built this land, we are the ones that run freight everyday from the West Coast ports to the East Coast. And Its about time we get treated as such. With out us, and with out our Trucks this Nation will fall on its face. We all know that it would only take a matter of days before Washington steps in and does something about it too.

There is not one DRIVER, or Owner Operator that read these forums that haven't heard we are in a recession. There also is not a one of you that travel todays highways that have not heard the cries of the single truck owner operator talking about going bankrupt.

It sickens me, and should sicken you to. The older generation of drivers are stepping down or are retired and the new generation is #1 - LAZY, and #2 -Careless.

I come from the old school and have been raised to work. My trucks and my drivers all work very hard from sun up to sun down. And many of you here work just as hard as we do!

The days of a decent wage for the truck and driver are starting to disappear! The moneys that the truck earns is simply going into the fuel tanks and right out those big chrome smoke stacks!

I'm asking you to help me make a difference, I'm asking to you stand up for what you believe in, and I'm asking you to be strong as the steel you haul and don't be persuaded.

We are this Nations BLOOD LINE and you DO have the option of letting them know that. You and I can make a difference!

Its been done before and needs done again!

We need a starting point and we need a destination. Our starting point needs to be a petition. Even if it does nothing it will be handed to the supreme courts and congress.
Again IT MAY NOT do much but it will let the UNITED STATES know that we #1 CAN STILL WORK TOGETHER!
#2 ARE TALKING ABOUT THE ISSUE AT HAND
#3 LETS THEM KNOW WE ARE THINKING OF OTHER OPTIONS!

I will not LIE when I say I have a Petition going right now but it was brought to my attention, AS IF I DIDNT know! Looks like an 8th GRADER wrote it! Well, I DROPPED out of school in the 8th grade to START working!
Simple as that! I myself and the drivers that I have do not have the required EDUCATION to clearly and professionally write a NEW PETITION.

I am asking 10 PEOPLE from the community to HELP me write this Petition.

EVERY one here may have words in the petition going to this nation but I "NEED" 10 people to help me focus and get another Petition written up that reflects our WHOLE Industry.

This is Possibly one of our most important threads in the forums. And the TOPIC its self deserves respect. Not Me, Not you but the TOPIC and what it stands for.

DO NOT Talk about how the Owner Operators of the Nation will go broke and how the Mexicans will just ride on in out of the Southern Skies to RESCUE us. Thats all a bunch of CRAP, and the OLDER Community of Drivers who are here in the community deserve better than that! They are our Mentors, Deserve respect and should NOT see todays people saying such.

I am only one person and I do not have what it takes to get this going! I need you. And Need you now. Everyone can participate! But I need 10 serious people who are Drivers, Fleet owners, or in our Industry to help me Re-write the PETITION in the Link listed below!

We ALL need to stick together to get this LOWERED or We NEED our RAISE!

I've been trucking for a LONG TIME too... And I know for a fact our RATES have NOT gone up! Its SICK!

If we speak of raising RATES, our costomers just say thats fine! We'll go elsewhere or we just STAB on another in the back!

The fighting has GOT TO STOP and WE NEED to to play as a TEAM!

The forum knows and the word is out! Im not the Sharpest knife in the drawer but I do know my lively hood! From age 13!!!!! I've seen nothing but DASHBOARD and Smelled diesel smoke!!

And I wouldn't trade any of it, for any amount of EDUCATION in the world!

My Father, "RIP" and My uncle's raise me around trucks and Loggin.
I know the OLD ways and my wife hates that!
Even in troubles times when I wonder where the BoyZ paychecks are coming from I will not BARROW nor STEAL. It's my problem and I've gotta fix it.

Their family's, and their FUTURE is "ALL" at stakes!!

It saddens me to think im even typing this stuff. And If my father was alive to SEE the price of fuel today? He would probly "BURN MY TRUCKS" to the ground!

Am I talking drastic? Yeah I know I am... But it's DRASTIC that will put this FUEL "BS" to bed! For a little while anyways!

GET that Petition RE-WROTE, And If I have to FIT the BILL for a lawyer to RE-WRITE it in OUR defense I guess I'll have to pull a few extra loads a week. But guy's I would do that!
