I was wondering how much does it cost to service your trucks, and do you do a full service each time ( oil. Air, fuel, coolant, grease fittings, checking rear ends, transmission, axle hubs)
just asking right now i work for a construction company and i handle service on all equipment and thinking about doing service work on the side. I think i'm going to go to trucking companies and ask but was just wondering how much it cost. And how often do you get your trucks service too. Any kind of info would be appreciated

    thanks

a full service is about $200 depending on where and that is basicly just oil and filter change and grease the truck. People do it anywhere between 15k and 30k miles. the big fleets tend to push the longer intervals and the owner ops tend to do them more regularily. 30k miles is WAY too long to go without greasing the truck. while they are under the truck they will chec the trans and diffs but if you want it changed or needs fluid added that is extra. air filters are about $50 each

these are very general prices. prices vary greatly
