Nah, they called after I left for work Friday so I can't call them til Monday. But my recruiter said I would probably get a bus ticket if I didn't drive. I'm undecided. If they can confirm that I'm coming straight home afterwards I might just drive down. S'only 5 hour drive. almost 10 hour bus ride. I've got a car gps and a trucker's mcnally gps so I should be good.

Personally, I would drive if I were you... Your not only gonna have your bags, but don't forget, you'll get uniforms and more paperwork, plus other little odds and ends. Even though it's paid for, to me, it would be a hassle to have to lug all that stuff around on a bus.
But again, that's me, always the hyper focused planner... LOL -
Yeah but if they can't guarantee me going home right away after orientation then I won't take my car. I don't want to have to leave it in a random state. Paranoid about this car lol.

11 hour drive, but I'm here; At the Clarion Inn, with 2 to a room. No biggie. I get here right at check in time, cause my dumb ### forgot about the time change. LOL But I get here and have 2,467 pages of paperwork to fill out. SO we'll see what happens tomorrow at start.

A lot of females there? I was one of two at Maverick orientation lol. Getting more and more nervous about this call on Monday. I hope it's good news.

I've only met my room mate. But I'll let you know tomorrow

Do we all have to take a road test? It's been awhile since I last drove a truck.
