No. Too much slip seating and I can't stand the hassles. Not going to leave trucks sitting when they can generate revenue.

Great forum with tons of information , thanks to all the contributors I have enjoyed reading through many of the posts.
Curious about the wages, working conditions for water trucks/Vac trucks in Hinton as well as JB water. Is a water truck a good place for new drivers to start?

Water truck is probably a better place to start than logging truck.

    And better than vac.

You'll see a lot and meet a lot of people. Should open some doors if you want that.

Also so can you speak Russian? It helps with water truck jobs.

What kind of money are company drivers making out there right now? in the beginning stages of thinking about making the move from Toronto. I Have an acz licence, and about 1 year experience mixed between otr and local driving in Toronto. Im also considering taking the 0-8 ton crane / boom truck course at my local college before I go if that would open any more doors for me out there or allow me to make more money. any thoughts advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Entrec, La Prairie, Northern Crane might hire you and put you through your full crane apprenticeship. Maybe start on picker, rigging, etc. Just saying, maybe save your money and learn hands on?
