we need drivers in northern bc

    spin out, lock up try to keep goin, get all pretzeled up or back up a bit to get goin again and while backing start jacknifing and then stuff chains under the drives

    I'm not full of whatever 5 letter word that is. The driver laid his chains in front of his drives (on the ground), hit the throttle spun the tires, the tires grabbed a link and shot the chains out the backside. The spinning tires made more ice he slid back further when he hit the brakes. This is a fully loaded ore truck. I don't know the weights but it's very heavy.

    I WAS THERE. YOU WERE NOT.

    I am curious, how do new drivers get experience, its more harder in canada to get someone to hire a new guy like myself, thinking i have to leave canada to get someone to hire me, lol, my drivers asbract is clean. I just completed 40 hrs of driving lessons at the college.

    Just wondering if anyone know any compainies in BC hireing green guys,


    At this rate, there wont be much drivers left, if no ones gives a anyone a chance

    Hello Prairie Boy new to this forum I live in NJ I have four years of class B experience are you looking for any drivers with this license and would it be hard to get a work visa in Canada thank you in advance.

    Prairie Boy did you know an Ed Lister when you were hauling up there. I worked with Ed in Prince George for a while and I thought he said he was on that run back then.

    I run a lowbed on this road. It can go from clean and clear to chaining up in ten km. Its always interesting that's for sure.
    Ken 83. when I started about 8 years ago, the patch was hiring green drivers. Try the cementing companies, Sanjel, Slumberger, tri-mac. Its good money and gets you experience. I know Ft St John has all three of these companies.
