Been seeing a lot of 3 Star trucks in BC, never heard of them before.
Actually I've been seeing a lot of Alberta trucks (oil haulers) in BC, no doubt in my mind many of them are running Alberta log books and grabbing back hauls to/from BC.
I'll bet local BC companies have already been asking for log book checks at Demmitt and Baytree, it would be like shooting fish in a barrel...

You can bet your ### that any alberta oil company hauling in b.c. will have federal authority, a permit to operate, or the oilfield excemption permit.
This ain't their first rodeo. 3 stars been operating inter provincial and into America for years. -
My log book comment was not directed at 3 Star...
As far as the other trucks go, I talk to them in Alberta and they tell me how they work crazy hours and live in the truck for 21 days and take 7 off...then I see the same guy in BC... go figure. -
Oilfield permit allows 21 days straight while operating federally. I run the permit.

Yeah they were owned by Mullen. Looks like the non competitive companies in Mullen are getting shut down and their assets transferred to other parts of the company.

It's odd. If bradys folded then it's a wonder why they have a new kijiji ad advertising for jobs.
