Is anybody running a glider east of Manitoba? Where did you get it? Any issues getting it licensed? How is it working out?
Thanks!!

I am curious as well...

Yeppers ...
I know some people are running them, but have no idea how they are going about having them put together and licenced and all that good stuff ... Or if it would still even be under the new truck allowance of 7 years for the drive clean in ON ... because is it technically a new truck or ???
Someone please advise!!! -
I heard from my mechanic that a small fleet in Belleville, ON is buying only gliders now.
As for me....we just bought a 1986 359 from Tennessee and it passed the On E-test with flying colours (1.6% opacity vs 40% allowable....but alot of that is the guy that does the testing). 1985 requires no test. -
I tried to order a glider from Freightliner in Nova Scotia but the salesman old me he couldn't get one?? I bought my Volvo, and so far I love it, but ran into a guy in Mississauga who says he got his Coronado glider from a dealer in Ontario and he had only had it less than a year. I'm just curious. Not gonna go dump my truck or anything but still wondering what's up with them??

A guy I work with has a two year old Coranado. Bought it from metro freightliner in stoney creek ont. Hasn't had any major issues with it. It was a powered glider with a rebuilt Detroit in it.

Does he want to sell??? Lol

I heard about argosy gliders in canada. Only seen one here last year in ohio.
-
Local shaker dealer in northern ON has been pumping out argosy gliders with 12.7 detroits in them like candy for manitoulin transport for probably a year now..
-
I would keep argosy 12.7 detroit for hay hauling
