I'm assuming you're talking about oil? H2S, Godi, Confined Space, PST, OSSA, CSTS,First Aid depending on who you're driving for.
I don't know any oil companies up in NWT, but there are a number including Westcan that run up there.
ENFORM is all over with their courses.
But again, depending on who you end up driving for, they could possibly pay for your tickets. -
Thanks.
you wouldn't know of any who are hiring right now?, and is westcan a good company to work for? -
Manitoulan, Ventures West, Mullen, Westcan. I've not worked for any of these companies.
My advice is to come out and personally walk into their offices with a resume and abstract. -
When we hire someone, we put them thru orientations and get all their tickets. About 3 days total I would think and we pay them for the 3 days of classes after 90 days or sooner if they get laid off.
Otherwise, some would get their tickets and say "Adios". -
Do you pay them their full driving wages? Like if you were paying them 25/hr to drive, do you pay them 25/hr to take courses?
