I'm jealous man... You'll be living in Chilliwack/Abby? They just built a nice new yard right by where I haul rebar to off Lickman

Just take the new Perimeter highway 17 once you pass 200th westbound, after you pass Tannery you'll exit at the "Congestion ahead" flashing sign and keep straight, if you go right you will go to the container section.. But I'm not sure which gate you will go in, the Triton guys usually go straight through and the steel guys use the gate to the left..

Really poor signage, there's a sign for "Surrey Port" at Tannery Rd on 17, don't be fooled by it - it's not where you want to go

Thanks man! I never technically moved away from the lower mainland just always commuted to Alberta. Own a condo in Langley but if everything works ill prob end up selling and moving to chilliwack. Kinda sucks driving 40 mins to work and back. I applied when they were 2 mins away from me in Langley and didn't even know they were building a yard in chilliwack haha.

Signage & Robson Road: Note that signs on the SFPR direct “Surrey Port” traffic (i.e., FSD traffic) to the Tannery Road interchange, which will be the permanent access route between FSD and the SFPR in the near future. However, accessing FSD’s truck gate from the Tannery Road interchange is currently not possible, because Robson Road is not a continuous thoroughfare at this time. Work is underway to reconnect FSD’s truck gate and Tannery Road using Robson Road, but in the interim, all vehicles must use the turnaround points described above to access the truck gate from Elevator Road.

Maybe they should take that "Surrey Port" sign off the Perimeter @ Tannery then haha, I wonder how many trucks fall for it and take that road to the dead end..

Big thanks for the directions! Your right my GPS wanted me to get off at tannery. There's technically an entrance there I guess but you can only use it if your oversize as I came out that way
