By the time you purchase the Cobra, the extra work you think it needs, the amp, and so on you spent more than just buying a good radio to start with.

You can do what ever you want and when your done you still have a cobra.

I have several Cobra radios they are fairly decent radios, They still have cobra finals. Changed the audio clipper, tuned it properly. Stock Freightliner antennas gets out fine.

schmud0811, He's telling you the truth. I think that I need to open a radio shop. So I can get rich specializing in Tuned Frequencies. I could do about 12 a day. At $35 each I could make a pretty good living working 5-6 days a week. Power J I think that you should open a shop also. Then you could tell DOT to just take a flying leap off whatever. Just think $2100+ a week for doing nothing. I think that I may work a little O.T. and do double.

but of course, there is always one in every bunch :biggrin_25513:
If that were indeed the facts,I doubt seriously there wouldn't be the sales numbers or the number of units out here running like there are . . . . . .

Get your frequencys tuned here!!! I am now doing them on the East coast. And if you bring in 3 radios. Pay for 2 and get 1 free. Don't ask how it's done. It's a trade secret. And WA4GCH, don't tell that it can't be done! When many Drivers are paying good money for it. By the end of the year I'll have locations in MD, DC, VA, PA, DE, NJ, NY, and CT. Only in America can one get rich tuning frequencies.

ok since everyone is saying a cobra is a cobra when ya get done, what radio is the one to have, i was looking at the connex 3400 hp that just came out this yr. is it any good? if im going to drop alot of money on a cb, i expect not to have to have anyone inside of it ####### #### up. because honestly if your paying a good price it might as well be right out of the box.

That Connex is not the best choice. Before I'd buy the Connex for $250. I would just goe to Sparky's and buy the General Lee for $180 ready to rock & roll. Less money more punch.

    FriedTater Thanks this.

Yes he could get a KL-203 100+ watts $60. And a CB radio for under $100.
