Yeah, it's all in what your driving them with. A dirty radio will be dirty at any watts. That's why I kept my General clean. I'm only looking for a few hundred watts in an amp. I don't need to talk to china. lol
That 2 pill XForce looked good.

Well guys I still think it is funny.

I won't get into where to actually buy a good quality amp, I know of a couple of them around and they are not the two or four fet amps that you get and hook up to 12 volts but are a bit more complicated and a lot cleaner and a lot more expensive.

I think the XL450 is a quality amp and just what I'm looking for. Nothing over the top. low distortion. 400 watts. Seems like it would match up well with the General DKing on 2 watts with the mic gain maybe half way up. Bet it produces some quality audio.

The floor is open to Magna Force 350 comments. The 350 runs 2-2879s. AB biased as opposed to the noisier class C and is necessary for ssb. I've learned a fair amount today and everything I've heard says this would be an awesome kicker.
    Thoughts?

X Force is not a "One Man Operation"...Mater-a-fact, I'm not sure Carl even builds his Amps...He has several people over there building, and if you haven't checked out X Force's site in a while, they are starting this year to build AC tube box's, and Mosfet base Amp's...Along with the regular X Force, Midnight Specials, and TNT box's...

If you check out their AC Tuber's, be prepared for some "Sticker Shock"...Thing's ain't cheap. I think the cheapest is a one tuber that peg's over $700...

I asked! They do look like Wizards, and they were selling Wizards at one time, but these are suppose to be strictly built by X Force and Not Wizard...However...I have a funny idea they maybe Wizard clones...
