I have a 2012 Freightliner Cascadia w/ dual mounts just behind the doors. Currently have OEM antennas. I know the am/fm radio and possibly the TV coax is connected to the co-phase feedline, which I will work on later. My radio is just a plane old Cobra 29 Classic. I'm just looking for a modust antenna system upgrade, not top gun stuff.

So which one of these fiberglass antennas would you buy?

I don't understand the popularity of these fiberglass antenna. They are the bottom of the barrel IMO.

They are cheap and easy to come by. Not everybody can run a big coil antenna.

I always run a 4 1/2 ft Francis if I'm going under 5ft for an antenna. They just seem to work better than the 4 footers. That said, you are probably wasting your time/money replacing the antenna if you are still gonna use the factory junky coax.
