    Ok went from a volvo to a frieghtliner I installed my 919. It has been peak and tune ,new coax,wilson 2000 power coming from power lugs on the dash. My swr are great 1.5 on 1,3 40 channel my rf gain when set at 3/4 i got to squelch 1/2 way but when I key up all my gauges cycle on the dash like you was starting the truck. Everyone says it sounds great I have had this radio for years and no problem with it. So what is making my gauges cycle and squelch so high.

    Figured it out the coax got wrap around the power line and it was causing it to back feed.
