If your not looking for a long distance talk I would just get the Wilson Little Wil it will get you 2-4 miles range if tuned properly.

OK tonight my buddy and I wanted to try our cb's out I was 25 miles away from him with my linear on he could hear me calling him. He also had his linear on but I couldn't hear him calling me back. I'm thinking mine is putting out good in order for him to receive me and his isnt putting out if I cant hear him back. Am I right? Or is it mine that has the issues of not being able to receive him back? Appreciate your replies.

It could be his transmitter, or it could be your receiver. No way to tell from the info you gave.

Is your RF Gain knob fully clockwise? And turn your sq knob fully conter-clock. And let us know if this helps

Turbo I know that you are also a Ham. I tuned mine for 26.950 - 28.740 with a 1:8 or less. It really out performs the Wilsons that I've run by miles. In one case I saw a 20+ mile increase over my Wilson while parked swapping out antennas talking to people that I know where they were. And 10 meters shines too! Read some of the post on some of the Radio (DX) Forums that we both belong too. You will see many people now swear by this brand. Mine both are Mag Mounts. I've been in CB since 1968. And owned many Radios and Antennas. To me this is the best 10/11 Meter I've ever seen. I read on one Forum where someone gets 10/11/12 meters after hard mounting.

I'm on allot of the CB related forums too...And I have yet to see ANY negative posts or threads on the Sirio brand "Mobile" antenna's...I have seen a few posts tho on their Base antenna's being built sorta flimsy...
