In Nov of 2008 we buried my dad. He has went from job to job for his entire life. The 2 most frequent jobs were a truck driver and the oil field.
I can remember my dad having me move his CB Radio from one truck to another ever since I was in my early teenage years. About 6 months or so after his death, my mom asked me if I wanted my dad's CB radio. I, of course, said yes and took the radio and put it away. I have recently decided to put my dad's radio in my pickup. The Radio's face has a rebel flag face and it's a Connex CX3300 Cb radio that I'm sure my dad had tweaked some, but I have no idea what he had done to the radio.
At this time I'm living in the Lawton, OK area and would like to know the following questions...
    1) Where is the closest CB Radio that I can carry my dad's radio to be checked out.
    2) What's the best CB antenna that will give me the optimum performance for his Connex CX3300

Sorry about your dad man. I can't help you with your first question. But as for an antenna you'll have good luck with the predator 10 k sw, it's a good match with the connex radios. I also think the Wilson 5000 is a decent antenna. The predator is a much better antenna but you'll probably have to order it online b/c it is a 10 meter antenna which is not sold in truck stops so that limits you to a good cb shop or online shops.

Sorry about your dad. Best antenna would be a 108, followed by a 102 whip. Next in line would be a Sirio 5000.

I do not know any shop in your area or even close to it and i am familliar with Lawton.
But there is one shop you could trust in Carlisle Pa DTB cb shop the tech "Dave" is the owner and he knows his stuff he will not try to sell you anything you don't need or anything of that sort.
As far as antennas if the "102" whip is an option then it might be your best bet otherwise like the other guys said the predator 10K and the sirio kl5000 are both really good antennas.
    Good luck!
