My dreams of owning a super-duper-mega-turbo-tuned-Brucified radio are now shattered.:biggrin_25523:

Awwww the ol' threat of the FCC. Well the only time you ever hear of them is if some jealous "hammer" turns the CB shops in. Don't know why anybody would care unless the CBer is running enough power to disrupt others. But, alas there is that certain type of individual that can't mind his own business and is determined to save the world.

I can't think of any hammers I've ever known, if they had a CB, that had a "legal" one. Most of them have a Icom or something that works on 11 meters

That's cool. I didn't see a "legal CB", that I recognized in your photo. But, here you are in a thread about CB??? Oh, I'll bet you just "monitor" the CB band when you go to it......(I'm not accusing you of any illegal activity, just sayin'.)

I've run a big station in the past. Don't do it anymore. CB is basically dead compared to back in the day. I've listened to some of the ham bands, forget which one in particular, but one of them didn't sound any more professional than the CB band in it's heyday. CB can be a lot fun if everybody shows a little common courtesy and respect for others, sadly you don't find that much anymore.
