OK so I am looking at what network to go with here. I want a network the DOES NOT THROTTLE BANDWIDTH! This is simply for Netflix.

Anyone know of a plan like this?

    UNDER $150 bucks?

unlimited who wont throttle? most I know will throttle after so many gigs used. I know with ATT even if a throttle happens Netflix will still work but at a lower resolution but att doesnt give unlimited to new plans. I believe sprint throttles and im not too sure on t-mobile.

Verizon doesn't throttle unlimited data, but you can't get it anymore. There are some grandfathered unlimited data lines being sold on Ebay, going rate is around $500 and you'll have to buy a phone outright. If you get a contract price, you lose the data.

    I use ~30gigs/mo

T-Mobile does not throttle and is truly unlimited, but you need to be in a good area for Netflix. Most anything outside a metro area is spotty.

I am one of the grandfathered customers that have unlimited and I can tell you that after using 2 gigs you are indeed throttled down. I called in to complain and was told it is to discourage us to sign another contract and be done with unlimited. The day they do that is the day I search for a new company. ;)

T-Mobile will throttle you if you use up your high speed data allotment. They'll cut you off if you reach your data roaming limit when off network, which is my biggest beef with them and the reason I will switch to Verizon once my contract is up.

Are you still on 3g, or do you have a 4g phone. On lte I always have fast connection sppeds, regardless of how much data I use. They may indeed be throttling it, but it isn't enough that I notice. On the rare occasion I have 3g signal, it does seem slow, but I've always figured that was because I'm used to lte.

    I thought I used a lot..
    I rarely use 30gigs.

    I use around 10-20gig avg.
Just checked billing cycle ends on the 12th and am at 16gigs.

VZW, once told me they do not throttle period.

To be clear...that's what they told me...doesn't mean it's true...

The old unlimited would throttle. The new one does not. But you are correct about the limited roaming data (the true unlimited plan only has 50mb of data roaming). But you have 2.5 gigs of tethering included.

But as a side note, Sprint will end your contract if you roam too much (they did that to me). I will also say that T-Mobile's HSPA+ is faster than Sprint's LTE. In some cases T-moble edge is as fast as Sprint 3G.
