Awesome thanks , I don't want anymore of those nights where I am a few mins away and run out of time . Lol
and its not like I take more then a 10 hrs break either . When 10 is up I am rolling , and I don't stop every other exit at a truck stop either , food and fuel only . Bathroom breaks are at rest stops , easy off , easy on...

I always try to plan for 12 hour sleep breaks.
10 is just not enough for me to relax and get to sleep, allowing for enough time in the morning to get ready to drive.
Even in my younger years, a steady diet of 10's would have put me under.
I don't mind 12 on with 12 off. Depending on loading/unloading or straight driving, I can do 450-600 miles per day easily.
That is quite enough for me.
I live in this truck. My home times are just visits since I only get a few days each month.
As such, I'll not run myself ragged while I'm at 'home' in my truck.
I'll take the time I need to fix a good meal and watch some TV shows or a movie, do shopping when I need to, etc..
And all that is planned before I send in the Mac 9.
They won't push me into accepting a load that I don't think I have time for - except maybe sometimes, if I think I can do it in the bare minimum of hours.
Not usually, though. I hate to be rushed when there is no real need for it. -
Usually you can ask for the window. That usually gives you more time to pick up and drop.

I'd never work forced dispatch. Use a 50 mph average on real miles and add 12 hour breaks. That's what I do and I'm always early.
-
I can't really tell.
I never give reasons, I just adjust the times using mac 9 to allow myself the time I want.
Every so often I'll get a call from my DM (or a planner) asking about it. I'll explain my timing and why I didn't like the Plus-1 (or whomever's) times, and it is usually resolved with the load being taken off me because the times were totally unrealistic - or I take it with a little less break time.
I'll do a strict 10 hour break if I need to, but I won't skimp on the pre-trip time or the required breaks during the day.
And I will not make a habit of it. I can't maintain that schedule and remain safe for very long.
I doubt I'll ever be a platinum or diamond driver, but I can maintain gold easily enough.
That is fine with me. -
I take everything that comes through ..
I am greedy . Thats partially why though.... ahahahah
And some how I always make it . Not really sure how.
12 hr break , 1 hr every 4 . Hmmmm
how many miles do you run a week ? -

Idk some days I run like 620 miles or a bit more if its midwest and flat . Lol
today I drove 579 and I was on a state rt. For like 140 miles with a ton of lights ...
See I run real hard the first day , then take it easy a bit -
8 hours of drive time a day doesn't seem to wear me out, it's like a normal job that way, of course you got about 2-3 hours with paperwork fueling and other bs that goes along with that, so really it's more like 10-11 hours of work. But 400 miles a day is sort of relaxed, I'd like to be at 500.
