Well if that's true its not fair to the guys/gals who paid the $2,999 plus interest.
I wonder if CRE is short new hires or trying to reach a quota? I was in Kingman Arizona the other day and CRE had a commercial on TV. Seems like they are trying hard to get new blood. -

:smt074They need some one to pay for there trucks

I'm at the SLC yard now and I wonder how some of these students expect to be successful drivers.
Some of these guys are walking around with their pants sagging and a total unprofessional attitude. -
OK, if you go to their website it says: "Zero Tuition Cost Promotion. Begin class on September 6, 2011 and pay Zero Tuition for our 10-day orientation & Advanced training course and get your career rolling". You still pay a $50.00 administration fee upon arrival at the facility. So, isn't that the same thing as this half off offer except that it is all off?? I don't get it....

My guess: They're seriously short of drivers and are trying to attract students.

This is the new one from C. R. England: Truck Driving School for only $995 for one week only and for class starting Nov 21.

i just finished the school here in cedar hill/dallas...I think they are taking advantage of the gov program. Texas will give them xx,xxx for each student they get, and they still charge the 2995 or what ever deal that they have going on at that time. My guess is they are trying to get as many as possible before tax time/x-mas holiday when there show up rate drops to the bottom. My class had 100+ apply and say "yeah ill be there" but only 30 of us showed up.
Dont get me wrong, the school was a great experience for me. I just noticed a few things along the way. There were alot of the "hard core gangstas" in my class as well Dewey120. They are also the ones that have been held over 2 or 3 times. One guy has been here for almost 3 months cause he couldn't pass the written test. All in all it was pretty good, just waiting for my trainer when i start my phase 1 -
