Why is it that every C.R.England thread has numerous negative attacks? These attacks are not only at the company, but against anyone who dares to say anything positive about them. I for one can not say if England is a good or bad company, I never worked for them. For those who are like me and never worked for them, why not keep your opinion to yourself so others dont take it as fact. Besides, opinions, rumors, hearsay is all subjective. Those who have worked for them, lets hear your factual positive or negative facts. Please also give specifics so that the rest of us can make a knowledgable determination on our own.
As for grammar and punctuation, we are not all perfect.Kairidragon and racerdad Thank this. -
There are successful drivers at CR England. That being said, a broken clock is still right twice a day.

When I called the safety department they said "Do you have a witness ? We won't pay if you don't have a witness " Yeah , I had 3 witnesses , 2 of them cops that found paint flakes from my fender on the CRE trailer bumper . -
Noone should be forced into teaming or training just to make it. Most of us prefer to be solo. I got my license through CRE in 2005 and drove for 6 months then went somewhere else. Big mistake leasing as a newbie with no experience, plus that was before they got sued and had to lower their truck payments on the leases to where they should of been to begin with and not 800 a week....I once had an England driver try to pin some damage on me he did at a truckstop but it didn't work.

I don't know where this "England forces you to team" is coming from. I've been riding with my husband for almost 3 years now with obviously him as a solo driver. They've never given us less miles, tried to starve us out, or told us to team drive. There were times with slower freight and we didn't make as much, but there were also some VERY nice paychecks. And yes this is with LEASING a truck. I think how well you do with any company is how you build your own reputation within the company. Are you always on time or constantly late? Do you complain about every load that comes across the qualcomm or do you just do your job like you're supposed to? Do you trip plan and give accurate ETA's and PTA's? Do you try to be more productive by finding ways to either deliver early or find a drop yard? Do you try to problem solve some of the problems yourself or sit on your ### waiting for someone else to do it for you? And this isn't just CRE.. it's any company you work for. If you are a consistent and reliable driver, you more likely to get the better loads. If you act like you don't care, hate your job, and would rather sit on your ### doing nothing than your job.. then you are probably going to get the really crappy loads. Just saying..

CR England pays .80 empty and .90 loaded, which by industry standards for an independent contractor is a joke.
Horizon/CR England charges .14 variable mileage, which is an absolutely unjustified and unethical amount of money (in light of the insulting cents-per-mile pay). . .and as a reward for this, their bumper-to-bumper coverage runs out rather quickly, unlike more ethical companies.
Netting $1,200 or more [running solo] should be the benchmark of a good lease or lease-purchase program. I can name four companies that have ethical and affordable lease or lease-purchase programs that solo drivers can make $1,200 and upwards without driving their clock into dust each week and I personally know drivers at each of those companies. . .and I have received photos of revenue statements to confirm their claims.
The reality is, once again, that some very few drivers can "succeed" (if success is an average $800 paycheck at best and going in the hole anytime you take hometime) but most will not. CR England is the Mormon Mafia preying upon the ignorance of drivers who are either new to trucking or are otherwise ignorant of what can be made in this industry.
http://www.crenglandclassaction.com - If you leased a truck from CR England / Horizon Truck Sales and Leasing you may be owed damages for being the victim of unethical and deceptive business practices.
http://www.crenglandlawsuit.com - If you were a CR England student who was paid less than minimum wage you may be owed several thousand dollars in damages. -
Never once did i claim that CRE brought us home a decent or consistent income. I stated that we had good times and bad times. My statement was geared towards the fact that England does NOT force team driving as so many have claimed. I also stated that a drivers attitude and business ethics in ANY company will effect their paycheck.

And maybe a paragraph key! aka "Enter" key...
I can get the no capitol letters if they're on a phone, but...
I sometime wonder if the people that type those don't ever have a comma nor a period let alone a paragraph essays.....actually talk the same way?
Oh well, back to filling out online applications....
