I have been trying to get him to switch carriers as he is about to do his year at PTL and I really don't think they are treating him right. Just wanted to know if there are any recruiters or people that would know out there if Crete would be interested on a driver out of Mississippi area.
I have friend who drives for PTL...

Crete hires in MS but why Crete only? Me, personally, if I was going with a big company I'd go with Schneider.
Chinatown Thanks this. -
What's his complaint with PTL?
If he wants to stay with dry van there's plenty to choose from and make some comparisons:
Dolphin Truck Line
Ozark Motor Lines
Total Transportation
Big-M is a reefer outfit in Mississippi. Their trucks look as good as TMC.
Howard Transportation in Ellisville, MS is also good. They haul their own products out of the 3 Howard Industries factories. Nice small trucking company with 150 trucks. -
The issue with them is that he has stayed on the road for 3 months at a time and then asked for time off with a week in advanced only to be jerked around for another week before giving him his time off. He does not even asked for the time off that is owed to him but only for 4 days after being on the road 3 months.
I have talked to a couple of people from the national lines Total, US Express etc. and to have a driver jerked around as to send him to ridiculous places when he requests for time off is just plain stupid.Chinatown Thanks this. -
Southern Refrigerated Transport runs lots of Southern USA.
Midwest-Coast Transport runs lots of FL to CA turns.
CTL Transportation has terminals in FL & Texas and runs lots of I-10
These 3 should get him through Mississippi on a regular basis.
US Express is best for teams; they get the miles & better runs.
Many other choices if he leaves PTL.
