That's what I meant when I said there could be worse places. That Pilot is nasty.

Well it could always be worse. You could have joined the military, at least you can leave CRST. Trucking is great isn't it? If you can stick it out for a year and keep your record clean, you'll be glad you did it. After that go look for an LTL job or something better. CRST has a way of making any trucking company look bright and shiny! I ran dedicated for them for about 6 months. I had a good gig going there. The OTR guys were miserable! I never met so many depressed people in all my life. If you can handle CRST for a year, you can handle anything!

nice handle there trucker. I've been here at CRST awhile so I know a thing or two about the skinny on things. Your a trainee and it takes awhile to get to the country club.

I don't see you being a long term guy here by what you've written so far, it's a shame because you really can make a nice life here.

Go on over to England trucking and see if its better. England stands for Every New Guy Leaves After Ninety Days. Go on over to Swift, the land of the $8,000 school and 64 mph trucks. Go to Prime where you'll need to C seat for a year before they trust you with real $$$ making loads.

Let me point this out. You can either stop complaining about how bad it is at CRST and focus on the career you can have here or you can listen to the idiots who flunked out and join them in the job jumper fraternity.

ive been trucking 20 years now and there is no perfect trucking company and CRST is not perfect so in not being perfect they have some dorms that aren't modern, long days in class, a hurry up and wait system, but guess what, your being trained to drive a truck at almost zero cost and a job at the end if you can drive the darn thing.

With any job, you have to start out at the bottom and put up with all the crap that comes with it, remember #### rolls downhill and when your at the bottom, you will have to deal with the bull ####.

Iv been in jail a few times in the past for doing some dumb things, joining CRST is as close to putting your self into jail as I have come. Jail, hard for a call to get through, CRST, same. Jail, never know when its time to go home, CRST, same. Jail, up early for free, CRST, same. Jail, you get more showers, CRST, three or four a week if the truck is moving. Jail, correctional officers, CRST, hard nose trainers. (not all of them)
Jail, wearing same clothing all the time, CRST, same. Jail, moving around a lot to make more room for more A Holes like me, CRST, same thing. Jail, need a lawyer, CRST, need a lawyer. Jail, no money, CRST, just a little bit. Jail, no scenery, CRST, no runs west of Denver on I-70. I could go on, but to be fair CRST is a step above jail. CRST has windows, jail has no windows !!!:whax:

Where do i start. Overall its to big. Over 3000 company trucks. Then add in owner ops. Lease to own 6 divisions. Refer expidited malone sti ect. Way to many collage kids running dispatch nights and weekends. No one on those shifts can do much but turn your fuel card on and ask you to submit a macro 39. ( dvir. Daily inspection report) if you forget. No advances for emergincies wait till monday. Ask questions. Your lied to. Maybe on perpose maybe because of lack of knowledge Youll get a daily safety report from safety. And all there winey about heads up. Goal smith system Well those are good. But did they ever think there beating a dead horse day in day out,, 1-2 a week. Some one way read it and learn. The 5000 miles a week ( joke). You might get 3000. Now split it with co driver. And you get 1500. Dont for get 22 cent. First 3 months. Well only 20 if you put you on perdeum. They keep 2 cent period. Do taxes on 10 cent a mile. Double it and its your pay. So it comes out to ??? 138.00. For the 5 days you took to drive 3000 combined 5 days??? Why yes you got your load Thursday in charlotte nc . It delivers 10:00 am in salt lake city utah. But did i add there only going to pay you zip code to zip code and both towns has multi zip codes. So they use closest points. Sorry to say. You will loose 30-50 acual drive miles on that load
Ok trucks. Yes there are a lot of new ones. And i do see a lot of newbies fresh out of school driving them. But when you get on a truck. New or 3 yrs old. Try getting a new one. I dont happen. I got stuck for 6 days in riverside ca with broke cluth. No new truck. Just another dented up pos peice of ####. Scavenged from. By shop
at least it went threw DOT line to make sure it was road ready Lmao NOT. Ifta stickers missing exhaust fumes coming in. Body molding babging and jagged edges elec problem. Missing registration
non dot. Broke fridge broke cabnets broke bunk. Blood on back wall of sleeper safty staps for bunk ripped out of wall. Ect.
Old truck taken to freightliner with out our knowledge and unsecure with our personal item in it. Then asked me to sign a waiver for crst. If things come up missing at feightliner Needless to say i balled up the paper and tossed it back at them. Went to new pos. and sent formal lettet to hq and asked what ####### is running riverside
Hay 10 min later i was picking my #### up at freightliner. And got a appologee from shop forman
so yea this company did forget who moves the loads and pays the bosses and help. So get use to being under appriciated. Me personally. Hell fire me its a emprovement. In my life i can call 2 people now and have a buss ticket in 20 min. Granted im lucky i have that choice. But i think ill stick it out till my 8 months are up Ill be a man of my word and fulfill my contract. But i know i dont have to be here other then honor
