Maybe you guys can help me out. I've been driving on and off for about 11 years. Right now I have a nice cushy Federal job, but if you've been watching the news lately, Feds are not very popular right now, and next year isn't looking much better. So, I may have to leave the government and get back on the road for a while. I'm looking for a decent NE Regional Company. I worked for Swift about 8 years ago and they weren't too bad. But, that was 8 years ago. I've had a few local trucking jobs and was a truck driver in the Army. Any suggestions?
Looking for a good NE regional company

Many companies have NE regional, but here's some to look at:
Martin Transport (also has a refresher course)
Hoge Motors
Prime Inc. ( has some tanker & flatbed NE & has a tanker school for your tanker training. Prime also pays $600.00 a week while riding with the trainer)
Schneider (has lots of divisions in NE and also has tanker school)
Comtrak (may have a terminal near where you plan to live; it's intermodal hauling out of the seaports mainly)matt1502 Thanks this. -
You could try Abiline out of Richmond VA. They do a lot of NE regional and you'd probably be home every weekend.

Thanks everybody. I'll definitely check those guys out too. Hopefully I don't need a refresher course, I've been driving, just not OTR or regional.

There was a guy on here recently that has been with Marten for a few months on their NE regional and stated he was very pleased with the company. Anyway, lots of choices out there for you. The good money is with tanker/hazmat & you will need TWIC which you can apply for now. Google will show you where to apply nearest you.
