To those of you that's been following the original Jct thread stayed by LMB administrators of this forum is fixing to lock up that thread due to its size holding up their servers. So they advised me to create a new on to continue to provide up to date info about the company, seeming how im still a current driver here.

I just wanted to update what was going on with me personally with JCT.

There have been a ton of posts saying that its impossible to pay off a truck with JCT and all the while I have been a staunch supporter of JCT's lease program advocating that it is very possible to do this and be PROFITABLE while you are in the lease program. Well, NOTHING has changed concerning my opinion on the matter, but instead of staying in my current lease for another 15 months and pay off my truck, I have decided to trade it in and get a new truck. While my current truck has/is a GREAT truck, it will be out of warranty in approximately 2 weeks and with the new lease program JCT is offering, I just couldn't resist. We all know what happens to anything we buy that runs out of warranty.....it breaks. :biggrin_2551:

I will be getting my new truck tomorrow and hopefully the shop will be done with the modifications I requested (install a refrigerator and add a driver side hood mirror).

The new truck is a 2014 Cascadia Evolution w/APU, and 500,000 mile BUMPER TO BUMPER warranty. With the new lease program, I don't have to worry about a huge truck payment since the weekly amount of the lease is based on the miles I turn in, NOT the dispatched miles. That means that I can somewhat control my lease payments by turning in the trips/miles that I want for a particular week. Yes, I am starting all over again with a new lease, but I will be going down the road in a new truck with a killer warranty and stress free concerning maintenance.

Its a base payment of $120/ week. Then they take out from .18 - .21 cpm, depending on the truck you get. I'm getting a 2014 so it will be .21 cpm.

A few places have changed to the new GEARED TO REVENUE style lease , you pay the basic ( steel tigers deal ) $120.00 / week and then the $0.21 / mile on the miles you run that week, so a slow week = smaller payment and a buisy week = bigger payment.
