Design transport (dallas,tx) Vs. Abilene

Howdy all!!

I have taken a year off from the industry after being frustrated with finding a good company, i got back to enjoying my life and took a break from OTR. Well, I have been missing the road but i do know that when i come back that i want to choose the best company for myself because i just don't want to be hopping around ruining my work history. I have been looking at the two companies listed in my title. I have a friend with Abilene and he seems to like it but the pay isn't so nice. i started in this biz making .43cpm and they only starting at .36 cpm. they do have nice volvos automatic, the trucks come with fridge and i like how comfortable the trucks are(i rode with him for a few days).
I looked into another company that is based out of dallas, closer to me, i live in houston.... Design transport, but i can't find much info on them(i'm assuming that is a good thing). I spoke to the recruiter, i know that they have apu's on all trucks, i know that they pay a sign-on bonus of $1000, also i know that they starting pay is .39cpm.... does anyone who works for the company know more about them? good, bad??
