After a year here, its ok. Looking at what ive read about other companies, This is a good place to be. .32 cpm, 1 cpm raise a year no cap. watch a video and get .005 cpm, + $50 quartly saftey bonus. Some trucks have apu's, but they dont usually work. The trucks idle at no penalty, 64 mph governed truck. Paper logs. Orientation is 2 days. day one you arrive, do paper work. Drive company minivan to hotel, you get your own room, the hotel has a pool, hot tub, work out room. Free breakfast, drive back and report in at 7, more paper work, get keys to truck, grab a trailer c-ya. They just got 20+ brand new prostars in, 1500 miles on them. most trucks are auto, some are 10 spds. The route is simple.
They are petsmarts no.1 se carrier. Pick up in newnan ga, going mostly to florida, some tennesse. if your petsmart to miami area, you pick up red bull in medley. other wise your picking up scrap paper in sarasota, orlando, or tampa. or niagra water in groveland, or saddlecreek in lakeland. Paper loads go to dublin ga or augusta. everything else goes to anniston al usually. if its a petsmart to nash, your either gonna pick up dogfood in lavernge, going back to newnan, or nissan parts going to greenville sc. from greenville, youll go to travelers rest and pick up tools going to nashville, or mt to newnan or jeffersonville.
jeffersonville is sports academy going to al, sc, or nc.
the petsmart loads are usually 3 and 4 stops. your paid$10 for every stop after the first one. Ask for directions on the petsmart stores, theres only one way in and out, and sometimes its a side street that you wouldnt notice. Those florida parking lots will get agervating with all the tree islands.
Travel light and keep your bags packed. in one year ive been in 7 different trucks. The prostar is the worst truck on the road imo. If you have a mechanical issue, youll drive to knoxville terminal usually, turn truck into shop, grab another truck, and a loaded trailer going to dublin or augusta.
pay is pretty consistent of 900 wk b4 taxes.

One of the posters and I think he's an ex-Pemberton driver, absolutely loves Trucks Inc out of Jackson, GA. He goes by stabob on here. They only run the Southeast I believe and require only 2 years experience.
-
So with me living in Dublin,Ga this would be a good company for me? How would home time be?
-
there are starter companies that start at more than .32 per mile, and have more bonuses than whats described above.
J-money Thanks this. -
.32 cpm ..they must be keeping u from the high tax bracket..lol
-
also thier drop yards and main terminal are very small, un professional and hard to navigate.
-
Not sure why you're staying with them with your experience you can go just about anywhere as long as your driving record is good. Maybe it's time to give yourself a pay raise and don't look back.
